Dr. Grant A Craig, MD

Dr. Grant Craig graduated from the University Of Texas Medical School in Houston. He has over 38 years of experience practicing family medicine and is currently part of The Family Medicine Residency Program at Texoma Medical Center. When he’s not in the office you can find Dr. Craig cycling or enjoying the great outdoors. Providing quality care for his patients is top priority because in his words “people are my passion”.

 

Laurel Barnet, MS, RN, NP-C

Laurel Barnet has been a nurse practitioner since 1997 and has worked alongside Dr. Craig for over 16 years. In her early career as a registered nurse, she worked in neonatal ICU, pediatrics, postpartum, newborn nursery, and childbirth education. As a nurse practitioner, Laurel has experience in occupational medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology but has a special interest in family medicine. Laurel lives on a small farm with her husband and son, where she enjoys time with friends, church activities, and kayaking. Barnet works hard to establish meaningful long-term relationships because “the best way to optimize healthcare is to partner with your patients”.

 

Dr. Jacob K. Davis, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CLS

Dr. Jacob Davis was one of the first Nurse practitioners in the nation to be awarded the diplomate status with the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology (ACCL). He has worked under Dr. Grant Craig for the past 6 years and has developed a passion for managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and lipid disorders. Outside of family time, Dr. Davis enjoys reading, attending concerts, traveling, and horseback riding.

 

Alec Matteson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Alec Matteson worked as a registered nurse in emergency medicine before obtaining a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. After furthering her education and obtaining a master of science from Angelo State University she began her clinical rotation with Dr. Craig’s office. This is where Alec discovered her passion for family medicine where she can establish personal connections with her patients. Her objective is to help each patient actualize their healthcare goals by continuing to be an active member in their journey. Outside of the office, Alec’s favorite activities include crafting, caring for animals on the farm, and spending time with friends and family.
